The Story
Honestly, have you ever been to a place that just screams 'main character energy' from the moment you touch down? Cape Town absolutely stole my heart, and I am still not over how gorgeous the Mother City is. With Table Mountain looming over everything like a protective bestie and the vibe being equal parts chic and adventurous, I was obsessed from day one. It’s the kind of place where you can go from a rugged hike to a posh cocktail bar without even blinking, and honestly, what more could a girl ask for?
My trip was a total whirlwind of iconic sights and absolute treats. I dragged myself up the Platteklip Gorge trail to the top of Table Mountain—my legs were absolutely screaming by the end, but the views were worth every single drop of sweat. After that, I spent my afternoons wandering through the colourful streets of Bo-Kaap for the ultimate grid update, and obviously, I stuffed my face with some incredible Cape Malay food. I also made sure to hit up the Old Biscuit Mill for some boutique shopping and a cheeky glass of local wine; the industrial-chic vibe there is just unmatched.
Budget-wise, I’d say Cape Town is super versatile, so whether you’re splashing out on a fancy hotel or keeping it low-key with market eats, you’re sorted. It was the perfect mix of city glam and nature, and I’m already plotting my return. If you haven't booked a flight yet, what are you actually doing with your life? It’s a total must-visit for your next big getaway!
